SH2-88 (Sharpless 88 )

Sharpless 88 is fairly bright with some other smaller nebula seen just to the left of the main nebula. The nebula itself does very well with a hydrogen-alpha filter but to get the fainter area around it, you will need a long exposure. The small nebula just to the right of SH2-88 would do well with a larger telescope and these should resolve very well. With a larger field of view, you can easily capture SH2-87 and SH2-88 together as seen on the Web Page Button.
