This large object is often over looked because of SH2-275, also known by its common name Rosette Nebula. It has nice structure with a couple of darker areas that would pick up well with a larger telescope. The open star cluster known as Dolidze 25 sits mostly in the middle of the nebula. One possible name someone could give this object is The Little Rosette Nebula. It responds very well with the hydrogen-alpha filter, and this is the best one to use if you have it. The RGB color channels are faint. but the red filter also does well. There was not much success with the OIII filter.
